The aim of restorative practices is to develop community and to manage conflict and tensions by repairing harm and building relationships. It can provide a forum whereby those most directly affected by wrongdoing come together to determine what needs to be done to repair the harm and prevent a reoccurrence. It allows the act to be rejected, whilst acknowledging the intrinsic worth of the person and their potential contribution to society.

The project will look:

- For the practitioners and organisations to provide an explicit framework in relation to their practice which aims at improving relationships on the grounds of values shared by the community;

- To target challenging attitudes and behaviour ultimately aiming at addressing and repairing conflict and any harm caused.

- To provide a common vocabulary both in ethos and actions for the organisations and professionals involved in different services.

- Staff working in the target areas will be trained in restorative practices to deliver on the outcomes stated above. The particular expertise of both regions will mutually develope practice.

Encuentro con las asociaciones Question de Justice  y Parle avec Elles de la región francesa Midi-Pyrénées. 

Deseamos dar las gracias a estas dos asociaciones por invitar el Instituto para la Convivencia y el Éxito Escolar a participar en las acciones de diseminación de las prácticas restaurativas en el sur de Francia. Durante varios días hemos podido compartir experiencias y buenas prácticas, diferentes actividades formativas, encuentros institucionales y conferencias públicas.


Meeting with the French associations Questions de Justice and Parle avec Elles from Midi- Pyrénées region.

We wish to thank these two organizations for inviting the Instituto para la Convivencia y el Éxito Escolar to participate in the dissemination actions of restorative practices in southern France. For several days we have have shared experiences and best practices, various training activities, institutional meetings and public lectures.


Rencontre avec les associations Question de Justice de St. Girons et Parle avec Elles de Toulouse.

Nous tenons à remercier ces deux organisations d'avoir invité le Instituto para la Convivencia y el Éxito Escolar à participer aux actions de diffusion des approches réparatrices dans le sud de la France (Midi- Pyrénés). Pendant plusieurs jours, nous avons été en mesure de partager nos expériences et  nos meilleures pratiques, diverses activités de formation, des  réunions institutionnelles et une soirée  publique.
